I am an Italian self-taught illustrator currently living in Bologna. Always passionate of independent comics and illustrated books for children from 5 to 90 years old, I started working as an illustrator in 1997, after being selected to the Illustrators Exhibition at the Children's Book Fair in Bologna in 1996.

I worked for some Italian publishers like Bompiani, Zanichelli and Carlo Signorelli. Between 1999 and 2000 I published three picture-books for Ta Chien, a publishing house from Taiwan.

In recent years, my passion for cinema led me to work as a projectionist in a movie theatre and as a cameraman for several documentary movies. In 2010 I directed (together with Simonetta Cappello) my first feature film, LE OMBRE DELLA LUCE (a documentary about people who work in movie theatres).

Being illustration my real love, since two years all my efforts go in that direction and I am currently available for collaborations and commissions.
